Study at the Federal College of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology:
Setting goals is one thing. Putting goals into practice is another. The Federal College of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology offers you the opportunity to do just that.
In four semesters, we train you to become a state-certified technician in the field of refrigeration and air conditioning systems technology - or a state-certified female technician, because refrigeration technology is a very versatile and certainly not a purely "male" occupational field. We would therefore be pleased to have more female graduates.
Refrigeration and air-conditioning system technicians are equipped for the increasing mechanisation of the refrigeration system installer trade and are fit in electronics, EDP and complex control systems. This practice-oriented degree programme teaches you how to plan and design refrigeration and air-conditioning systems and gives you a professional introduction to research and development.
Two semesters of business administration equip you with the tools for future management and prepare you for customer-centred or sales-oriented tasks.
With the study programme offered by the Federal College, you will have every opportunity to broaden your professional horizons and take on responsible tasks in development, sales or management. As a refrigeration and air conditioning systems technician, you will enter your new professional life well equipped to take advantage of new opportunities: Graduates of the Federal College are sought-after specialists at home and abroad.
And if the practice-oriented studies have given you fun and an appetite for more, the degree will open up further interesting opportunities for you: As a successful graduate of the technical studies programme, you also acquire the entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences and thus the entrance qualification for any university of applied sciences or university of cooperative education in Germany.
