For employees in specialized companies in the refrigeration and air-conditioning industry, the Federal College offers an extensive module and seminar program that is practically oriented to the latest state of the art and the requirements of the market.


A supplementary offer represents the company-specific consultation and further training. From the conception to the professional implementation and execution of training courses with experienced lecturers as contact persons, the Bundesfachschule offers individualized further training as customized programs on site or in-house.

Our mission statement

The Bundesfachschule is a leading educational institution in the field of refrigeration and air conditioning technology with locations in three federal states and an international presence. Our mission statement encompasses core values such as vocational training, preparation for the world of work and the development of self-, technical and social competence. We see ourselves as a learning organisation in which the ideas, suggestions and initiatives of all participants are important. Our community is based on mutual acceptance, cooperation and openness.

Through our cooperation with the Gesellschaft für internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and UN Environment, we are part of a global knowledge and learning community.

Quality management, especially with regard to information and communication, is a fundamental aspect of our mission statement. Good communication is crucial for successful cooperation and conflict prevention.

The management and school leadership practice a participative style of leadership that influences the handling of information and communication. They ensure that information is reliably provided, communicated and mutually exchanged. Communication management is their responsibility and promotes transparent formal communication. This strengthens relationships, trust and motivation and is essential for the further development of school and teaching quality.

The communication culture at the Federal Technical School is based on transparency, participation and cooperation. All members of the school community take part in the dialogue-oriented exchange of information. Teachers and staff take time for personal discussions with learners and are actively involved in discussions and decision-making processes. Class representatives have a contact person in the class leadership.
